Introduce yoga and mindfulness while your child is young and they will develop compassion, kindness and self-care.

Classes have been designed and choreographed to introduce children aged 4 and above to yoga and breathing on a level that their minds and bodies can identify, adapt to and reproduce.

The active (yoga) class is taught through story telling, incorporating music, colours and games, all of which are created around a posture-corrective body movement process. Classes are fun, and children develop balance, coordination, and an understanding of how to respond in a group situation.

The passive (mindfulness meditation) aspect of class is introduced through mandala colouring, fully guided short meditations and a thankfulness practice.

The classes help prepare the child for the transition into the more structured school environment.

This class is offered to day-care centres, childcare centres, home-schooling groups and playgroups.
